Dr.
Maruthi Krishna is a fellowship trained orthopedic surgeon specializing
in surgery of the knee and sports medicine. He has developed a special
interest in the treatment of disorders of the knee and shoulder,
arthroscopic and minimally invasive knee surgery, arthritis surgery, and
joint reconstruction.
He takes a multidisciplinary approach to patient care and believes that non-operative treatment programs can often be very successful in managing traumatic and degenerative orthopaedic conditions. With this conservative approach, He feels that many patients’ musculoskeletal ailments can improve or be healed without the need for surgery.
Dr. Maruthi Krishna has worked closely with the Department of Emergency Medicine at Sri Maruthi Specialisty Hospital and is frequently involved in administering care to patients in the hospital and in his office who have sustained traumatic injuries to the extremities, bones, and joints. From his work with the geriatric population, He has developed an interest in hip fracture surgery.
